To be more specific. I want to start a media company whose initial focus would be to bring attention to the numerous government technologies I have invested in. Many will change the world. I have invested in 70 different companies so far and want to profile them in either a newsletter or book. I do not know if I can get around things with just a disclaimer, but I have seen many holding companies send out newswires stating their financial interest in the companies profiled. Additionally, should I start a series LLC and put my stock portfolio under one series and the media/PR company under another? What is the legality of trading on swings generated by your own campaign?

You should consult with a securities attorney BEFORE you do any of the above. The rules governing the selling of and touting of stocks are complex and the penalties can be severe. What you are suggesting constitutes attempted market manipulation and the issuance of unregistered shares. Get a lawyer.

I’m interested in going into a trade and I am used to using tools in general but I have no clue where to find info on proper safety and there names. When I search online, all I comme up with are website and software devolopment tools. Any sugestions?

By the way, I tried using keywords like workshop, construction, hammer etc. Didn’t work since they are all software related too.
I’m not looking for a place that sells tools. I need a GUIDE on tools.

Check Hilti for drills, stiletto for hammers most everything else is just throw away tools you can pick up anywhere. Just remember to buy the best and it will break the least ( hard lesson learned)

Possibly check building trades code books. I am not sure if they have anything online.

I don’t have the money ($5,000) for tradestation. I also have heard that it is possible with excel? How do I do this, and do they still automatically execute trades with the broker? I am quite new to this, and only have a minor programming background. Any trading system advice or information would help. Thanks!
It costs $5,000 to open an account, which gives access to the software, there is no such system. I will write my own system. Where can I do this? Experienced traders only, please.

No doubt, they’ve put 1000’s of hours of analysis & programming into developing this system. How are you going to replicate this with llmited programming skills?? And that’s not even considering the analysis of the maket, that also went into this.

I am a programmer, and a systems analyst, and I would not even consider tackling this. Pay the 5k, or buy mutual funds.

that allow trading of penny stocks? I have a number of accounts already, but I cannot buy penny stocks. This is just something I want to good around with for kicks.

You can trade these through Ameritrade as well. If you are a more typical retail trader, this would probably be a better choice than Interactive Brokers, Lightspeed, and similar firms whose pricing and platforms tend to favor high-volume traders and usually charge on a PER SHARE basis, giving you quite a whopping bill if you trade 1,000,000 shares of a $.0001 penny stock. Ameritrade, on the other hand, has flat fees per order regardless of the number of shares traded.

Also, my suggestion assumes that you’re not trading these in response to email spam, or else you’ll be doing little more than supporting the lavish lifestyles of the Pink Sheets fraudsters. In fact, all Pink Sheets stocks are quite risky, so you may want to "paper trade" (or trade without real money) your strategies first; many brokerages have features that allow you to test your strategies through their platforms.
